O.K. There is a growing trend on the forums so the simple question is this:

If at the time of buying your BMW you could have specified run flats or non-runflats, assume no financial penalties either way, what would you have done?

The problem is that BMW have engineered some soft give back into the chassis mounts. Gives an odd feeling and does NOT curb the Tigger bouncing felt over rippled roads with RFTs.

If I could have the option of a traditional, well-developed, taut chassis and normal tyres I would take it without blinking (e.g. same as an M3).

I've been mulling over if I would buy another BMW and the RFTs seriously put me off. If my next set of tyres (will be changing from Bridgestones to PS2 ZP) don't improve matters I won't be buying BMW again.
