We're waiting for the package to be returned since you did not want to pay duties after the package was shipped and refused delivery.

Wonderful. Thanks!

edit: oh wait, what I actually meant was, the very beginning process just before your DIY begins with the installation of the AIB's. Im sure I'll figure it out once I get under the hood... but I wouldnt mind seeing it beforehand on the forum.

this part:

"First you need to remove the lid on the headlight using a flat head screwdriver, then unplug the stock H8 bulb. After you have done this, follow these instructions"

The caps can be removed with prying the retaining tabs back with a flat-blade screwdriver and popping out of place.

I looked under the hood. Looks straight forward enough. Thanks!

You're compatible.

One of our first testers is probably one of the earliest 2007 builds out there and is experiencing no error codes.

AiB is intended for e92 models at this time only. We will be releasing e90 models by end of summer (including LCI).

hey guys - Installed my AIB's. They look great.

I dunno how people with big hands can install these though.. cuz I have fairly small hands compared to big guys and I still had a hard time getting in there.

But anyhoo's, is it okay if the heatsink is touching other wires? and what about the driver touching the heatsink? that okay too?

Thanks.

I would try to get that parts away from eachother if possible, but I know how tight the space is to work with in there, so it may not be possible

It is pretty tight in there. So if I cant find a way to not let the driver and the other wires touch the heatsink... will this be a problem?

The Heatsink is there primarily to dissipate heat from the AiB's lightsource- but will still be cool to the touch.

No need to worry about other wires touching.
