Will BMWFS lease for less than 10k miles/yr?

I have been leasing cars for over 15 years now. But I did buy a 02 Mountaineer because they offered 0% financing for 5 yrs and no money down. I now own the car but have put it into semi retirement to use when the weather is bad in the winter and to haul things and make tips to Home depot and such. My current 07 335i has 16k miles(I have a 10k/yr lease) and my 2 yr anniversary is on 4/23. Last May, I leased an 08 IS250 AWD for my wife(which SHE treally likes). 12K/yr for 4 yrs. We will probably only use about 10K/ yr. Unfortunately with Lexus, you cannot buy extra miles at a discount before you lease is up or I would have done a 10K/yr lease on that car. Nevertheless, next year my lease will be up with BMW. Just wondering if I could lease for 8K/yr or is 10K the minimum. I know that monthly payments for lower miles are generally much less expensive. And If I do have to use the car more than anticipated, I know I can buy more miles at a discounted rate.

I'm pretty sure you can, although the dealer will be pushing 10k

8k or 10k a year won't make a huge difference in payment if it's even possible

MB does (or did in the past) low mileage leases for 7,500 a year - that's often what they advertise on TV and in the papers (S550s for $599/mo and stuff). BMWFS might, but like addy85 you really won't be saving much money - putting 4,000 less miles on the car won't matter much to BMWFS.

While there's no denying turning in a lease car under miles is a slight waste of money, I'd rather pay a few bucks more a month than to cut it so close. At least you have a little wiggle room, you know?

That being said, I'm a very firm believer in leasing. Even though I lease with 15k/yr (and will still very likely be over miles), it's worth it in every way.

Damn! You should lease swap your cars!
You ride less than 10k a year and swap it with decent mileaged cars with cheaper payment and then you swap it again once you get into the normal mileage area!
Swap swap swap!

I assume you are talking about lease swapping, Not sure how that would benefit me.
