Introduction and my first mods

Hey everyone I'm Marc, I have been lurking on here for about a year now and wanted to finally introduce myself.

I picked up my 2006 325xi last year in December after having too many issues with my previous car, a 2006 A4 2.0T. Although I loved the Audi and having a turbo car that was definitely fun to drive, I sold it and couldn't be happier. Compared to the 325, the A4 drove like a tin can. I've loved BMW since I was a little kid and my dad has always had one off and on while growing up.

I have been on a college budget this past year and have finally recovered from the purchase of the car so I haven't had much time or money to start modding my car until this past weekend. I am graduating in May and hopefully have a job lined up so this is only the beginning.

The cars a little dirty and I apologize for my crappy iPhone pics.

Mods:

ECS Tuning Matte Black Grille
Alzor Style 030 18x8 Wheels

I've thought about an lci conversion, but I think I may get either an M-Sport or M-Tech bumper this summer. You can't tell in the pics, but the under side of my bumper is torn from pulling over the curb on my campus. I am thinking about the three stage intake manifold swap as well.

looking good so far. you also might want to get a m3 rep bumper if you dont wanna upgrade to lci thats what I did. its pretty cheap from europartsautostore on ebay its about 350 shipped and the bumper is great.

Thanks! I was thinking about an M3 rep bumper too, I just can't decide what I want to do first. I may be able to get my windows tinted relatively inexpensive so I may go that route

Good start man, it's pretty tough building a nice car when still at school but it can be done slowly if needed!

Yeah it is hard but slower is better than nothing. It's given me a lot of time to research what I want to do next. The car is totally paid off by your truly also, so come this summer there is nothing holding me back

Yeah I built up my previous car during college/uni also (so 5 years) and it was awesome to do. Got a LOT done to it, too!

I have so many different things in mind that I want to do, but I'm tempted to hold back and possibly save for a 335 in a year or two. Maybe even an 80's or 90's BMW for a project instead...

Looks good so far OP. I'm sure you have everything figured out as far as mods you'd like to do to the car. Good Luck!
