PROcede CANbus Beta Stage 1 Question

-Been running the new CANbus map ever since I received the wire update. The new found torque down low is great. I'm just wondering if anyone is experiencing these issues with the torque setting at 90%:

-Max sustained boost level of 15.7psi.
-Surging at 4k

With the previous non-canbus map/firmware I had a huge hesitation (to the point of misfire) at 4k which was fixed by new plugs. Switching to the new CANbus beta map I thought my issues were over. I reduced my torque setting to 88% and now the car pulls fine through 4k with no surging. MAX sustained boost is now 15.2. What's going on here? Seems like too much boost for crappy CALI gas?? Surprised the issue goes away with just a slight adjustment. Comments appreciated.

I'm not seeing over 15 PSI at 91% UT setting, but it's still not hot here yet. I would assume the Procede adjusts things based on temps. What have ambient temps been like in your area lately? How are you measuring boost?

I'm still getting 15.2 yesterday at about 74 degrees ambient. Using Rix effects vent boost gauge.

First of all, you might want to recalibrate your gauge to make sure you are getting an accurate reading. I wonder why there is a descrepancy with the other poster.

Second, you have any mods other than just a stage 1? That would help you compare with others and try to make sense of this.

Third, have you tried calling Vishnu? they made the tune, so I would suspect they would know best what the heck is going on.

Fourth, if your car runs fine at 88%, why are you compelled to go to 90%? You already running a lot higher over stock anyway. What you will find is there are small variances car to car, and your car may not run as well as the next car at that high boost. If I were you, I'd let it stay where its happiest at, and not try to crank it up any further.

-The Rix gauge is digital and it's calibrated properly.

-Only mod is PROcede and Vishnu DCI

-I know the answer from Vishnu and I want to see if anyone else has experienced this issue.

-I'm not compelled to go 90% at all...I'm fine at 88%, just want to understand why.

What gear do you see the 15.7, or is it all gears at that rpm? I take it pretty easy on the car unless I feel like mashing it on the on ramps. I'm also on 93 octane.

3rd gear WOT going up a hill...and it was around 5500 rpm. 1st and 2nd hit 15psi around the same RPM but you are through those gears so quick!

I've seen a max of about 14.7 sustained on this map.

LOL...the answer from Vishnu is usually "something else is going on."
