Want to make your GP thunders or stocks Bright!
I have come up with a plug and play setup to run your GP thunder, stock halogens etc. at a full 14v constantly. No dimming or anything. Everything is completely plug and play. Just tap the one power post for 12v and a ground thats it
. The stocks turn more of a white color under full 12V. Even with the headlights on NO DIMMING! .... This is def. the 2nd brightest rings ive seen! Also the rings are very evenly lit! Hard to see in the pics but they are both equally lit and bright! Not as bright as the HID's but way brighter than any led ive seen. UPDATED 5/11/09 MORE PICS AND REVIEW BY BETA TESTER ON PAGE 3 Tell me what you guys think!? First up is both of the stock halogen H8's under full 14v with my kit. ![]() ![]() ![]() First with the headlights on and halo at full power. Then the second pic is completely stock. ![]() ![]() GP thunders under full 14volts with the kit compared to the driver side Stock with headlights on! ![]() ![]() ![]() GP Thunder with kit on passenger side.... And completely stock (no kit and stock bulb) on drivers side. Broad daylight 4pm (slightly overcast) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by camaross305; 05-11-2009 at 04:17 PM.. |

The added heat isn't going to cause any melting especially in the summer sun right?? That would be my worry with this mod, but interested none the less.
