CD scratch repair kit work on paint blemishes?

I have seen scratch repair kits that virtually polish out scratches on damaged DVDs & CDs using micro fine sandpaper-kind of like wet sanding. I wonder if it will work on slight blemishes on the paint for my E90?
My left calf seems to rub on the lower skirt of my E90 when i go in and out of the driver seats resulting in a light haziness on where the contact has been made. Now it bothers me.

No...you'll induce more fine scratches and swirls into your paint. Even if you use the fine sandpaper in a method such as wet sanding, you need to polish down with a circular (direct drive) or Porter-Cable random orbital machine.

You might want to try a scratch remover found in most auto parts stores...

Try the least abrasive method first. There should be some good over the counter polish ranging with different abrasiveness that can take care of that if you are not keen on getting boutique brand products online. Take a look at www.properautocare.com for some info. Of course, after the polish, slap a coat of wax/sealeat for protection.

BTW, I am big with Menzerna line products

This looks like a good application for one of these clear bra 3m thingies, what do you think?

Use this stuff. It is solvent based, but should help. If not, you can step up a level to a mechanical polish.
