ER Charge Pipe blowing off intercooler piping

Installed the charge pipe this weekend and after 3k rpms it blows off the interecooler piping I got from the VRSF 7" FMIC. The rubber connector is blowing off and no matter how tight I make the screws it still blows off. Anyone have the same experience.

Are you putting enough of the coupler on the intercooler piping? It should have T bolt clamps. Tighten more!

You may be able to get more contact patch for the couplers on the charge pipe if you shift the lower intercooler pipe towards the throttle body. You will need to loosen the lower intercooler pipe connection at the FMIC. Just a little.

Good info. I just ordered the ER pipe after reading your post about blowing up your stocker! I have the VRSF IC as well.

Edit- turns out that wasn't your thread. Oh well.

Also make sure the connection points are clean and free of any oil deposits.
