Since my 335i is sold I now have a set of unmarked 17" rims with Bridgestone club racing Potenza RE55s tyres for sale. Size 225/45R17. I have been to two BMW club track days with these tyres so there is plenty of life left in them. Save mucking around and changing tyres, just keep this spare set at your friendly tyre dealer and get them to swap them over when your going to the track. Tyres are road legal so you can drive to and from the track. Put these on and it's like going up another engine size.

If you haven't driven with semi slicks before the difference compared with road tyres is quiet substantial. The extra grip is amazing! The last track day I went to was Morgan Park in Queensland with a friend in his E60 M5 (with street tyres). Although the track is reasonbly tight and probably more suited to my modified 335i, by the end of the first lap he was falling behind and 2 laps later...history. Check them out on the link below.
