BMW Performance Exhaust versus Eisenmann Race Exhaust
Here is a video comparison of two 325i. The first car is mine which has a Gruppe M replica intake and a BMW performance exhaust. The second car belongs to SES_D and he has a Eisenmann race exhaust and a version 1 Simota intake. I will also note that the Eisenmann also has a resonator delete that was custom done. The BMW performance comes with piping that removes the resonator.
Upon review, the BMW performance has a deeper tone to the exhaust, it also tends to pop a lot more when you downshift the car compared to the Eisenmann. When taking off, the Eisenmann did sound more aggressive but did not pop as much as the BMW performance. Both exhaust overall is very good. They both carry different tones and exhaust notes. In terms of pricing, the BMW performance definitely is the better value as it includes piping while the Eisenmann does not and custom resonator delete job was needed to make the exhaust a little more aggressive. |

Here's my input on both these exhaust as well.
I've had the Eisenmann on my car for more than a year. The Eisenmann comes with just the muffler whereas the BMW Performance includes piping. Upon install, the Eisenmann exhaust did not meet my expectations on loudness and aggressiveness. I went back to the shop and got them to do a resonator delete which made the exhaust considerably louder. From then on, no further modification has been done to my exhaust. My first impressions of the BMW Performance exhaust is genuinely positive. Since it includes piping which deletes the resonator upon install...no further custom modification is needed. Simply install the muffler and pipes and it's good to go. I feel that the BMW performance exhaust gives a much throttler and deep sound...it's more aggressive upon start up as well. Back then, the BMW performance exhaust was not available. If I had to do it agian, I would definitely choose the BMW performance over the Eisenmann. Why? - Comes with both piping and muffler (Eisenmann only comes with muffler) - Best bang for the buck...it is cheaper than the Eisenmann. - Deeper & throttler sound Don't get me wrong, I love my Eisenmann as there are positives as well. - Cosmetically, the engraving on the pipes is def. a plus - Sound is fantastic Both exhaust are top of the line for BMW E90 non-turbo...both produce a fantastic sound and adds aggressiveness to the car

the exhaust sound while driving is a little deceiving imo due to the location of where the video was shot. I think it'd be better to do a recording of both cars doing a drive by on an open street instead of a parking garage. Both sound great. But I'd still like to hear how it sounds on the streets instead of the garage. Lookin good fellas

the problem with a open road is the presence of other road noises and wind ... it is hard to capture with the wind whipping into camera's microphone ... we will probably do another test ... its hard doing this stuff without the authorities rolling by as the police came by after we were done

Where'd you guys order the BMW performance exhaust from???? Did you install yourselves? How do these exhaust notes compare on the 335's?
