Best Wax or Sealant for a Clear Bra - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have the entire front of my G sedan done with VentureShield and use Plexus after each wash with an ultra plush mf but after a week and the plexus has evaporated, I can see micromarring in the bra. What is the best wax or sealant for a clear bra to help maintain a scratch free surface and not discolor the bra?

Any personal favorites out there from the pros?

My car is black if that matters at all.

I use Z-6 on mine and it does a wonderful job.

Same wax I use on the paint ........ Dodo Juice's Supernatural at the moment.

You shouldn't really wax the clear bra, as the wax tends to clog the "pores" of the material and it could cause discoloration over the time.

The best thing to use on the clear bra is PLEXUS in my opinion.

True however, the clear bra film needs to be maintained just as the clear coat on the cars. Wax and/or sealant is recommended by most 3M and Lumar installers to prevent fade & discoloration.

Plexus offers no protection in this respect ......

Anyone tried Dodo Juice purple haze? I'm wondering if that would be good since the color is black, or if it would stain the clear plastic and something like supernatural would be better?

I have actually applied 2 coats of the Purple Haze to the clear bra and have since moved onto the Supernatural. Both work well and to be honest, you'd never know that the car has a clear bra installed with the shine it has.
I recommend either of these as being fine for the CB.
