anybody in Michigan stalking the dealer lots... - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I've been to BMW dealer lots 3 times in the past week hoping to see an E92. Went to Erhard in Bloomfield Hills and Bavarian in Shelby Township. No luck. I didn't really expect to find it. These guys seem to be behind in terms of getting the new models in. At least, that's how it feels to me.

Sidenote: I saw an amazing black on black M6 in Birmingham on the way home from work today. The thing sounded sooooo mean

Sidenote 2: I also realized how glad I am that I didn't get black for my e90. Saw 7 e90's on the way home; 5 black, 1 white, 1 silver.

Yep. I've been doing the same thing. Can't find any at Erhard in Farmington, either.

Mine's black, and I love it!!! Wow! That's a lot to see in our area. I'm lucky to see one a day.

Was out in St. Clair Shores yesterday. I should have stopped by Bavarian in Eastpointe while I was out there. Oh well.

Yeah, I kept flip flopping between SG and JB; finally went with my first choice.
I normally don't see any other e90's.. or 1 at the most.
Then again, that day I did take Orchard Lake Rd. to 15 Mile East to Woodward North.... so driving through West Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham and Troy would explain it.

Also saw a black Aston Martin Vanquish

and a silver Maserati Spyder.

Well, I did a fly-by at Erhard of Bloomfield Hills, taking the long way home. Nada. No E92 outside. I didn't get out of the car to look into the showroom, because I was really skeptical that I'd see it inside. I have to go back past that area later. I'm going to make a point of looking inside. I'm not holding my breath.

Erhard BMW in Bloomfield Hills. Saw it this evening after the dealership had closed. Black with biege interior. 328. Don't know if it's an i or xi. I'll probably swing by there to see which one it is.

Bavarian BMW has one as well. 328i, black with beige interior. I swung by there last night after they were closed, it's sitting next to a black 325i, so you can compare the two.

Honestly, I'm not feeling it. Didn't like the pics; but figured once I saw it in person it'd grow on me... not the case. The rear just looks so bulbous, and I prefer the headlight shape on the E90.

Erhard in Farmington has a black 328i parked right in front. Saw it today around 6pm, so I'm guessing it should be there all night. Go see it! Looks really good. I might get one someday. I think it looks pretty much like the pictures we've all seen, no better or worse in person, it looks like the pictures. I will say that I like the e90's headlight shape and front-end a little better. Although the e92 headlights DO look a little better in person than the pictures.

Saw a 328i coupe yesterday at BMW of Ann Arbor. They are just moving, and may have more in the storage lot. They actually store all of their cars behind the Mercedes of Ann Arbor building currently, at least until they move. Not sure if they have any 335i 's.
