did they replace the first HPFP even when it was working fine?

why they couldn't get a working fuel pump is totally beyond me.

Yeah the first one was working fine when they replaced it. But that was like a year ago.

Sorry to hear about your troubles in Pueblo - hopefully the replacement fuel pump will solve the problem permanently.

I was also in Pueblo on Saturday - think I may have seen your car. Where you in Group D? Did you have full power during your first session at least?

I literally have the same problem, and practically identical to your story, limp mode in the middle of California Speed Way track. Reset the car decided to give it another try and then it happen again. I am running AA Xede tune, what did you use to reset your codes? I heard if you use GT-1 it's still detected and do you use BT? I have no idea and frankly I need help on exactly what to do before taking it in and possibly getting my warranty voided.

First I'll start I know I have to remove the xede

I was there Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I volunteered as a corner worker, I was assigned to corner 3. You were kicking ass, enough so that I noticed when your car was gone. I drove on Sunday.

Your trouble sounds more like it's the HPFP rather than the JB3. I had limp mode with my JB+ and the car did not idle rough, or stall. Good luck with your warranty repairs.

I was in Group D. Monaco Blue E90 with lightly tinted windows and 18" style 162 rims. I had a blast - can't wait for the fall school. Sorry I missed you -- we should arrange a meeting of the E90Post-ers at the next event.

By the way, is anyone doing the RMCBMWCCA AutoCross school on June 20? Cost is $60 - you have to be a member. Held at Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot near Stapleton. I know JaaE90 will be there tearing it up.

Group D FTW!! Good to hear that it was only a fuel pump for you Sid, funny about the intake comment though. They will try anything to put the blame on something else.

Hi Scott!! 2 weeks and counting!

By the way, if anyone wants to come and you're not a member, all you have to do is become a member! It's easy to sign up, just check out rmcbmwcca.org. We're not talking about being a member of the local chapter, you only need to be a member of the national BMWCCA. Register for the event at the local chapter website (www.rmcbmwcca.org).
