5/29 maps with Procede Rev I

I asked this in another thread, but I guess other (more interesting) stuff took precedent.

Has anyone with Procede Rev I tried these maps and had performance improvements like the Rev II guys are talking about? Is the only difference right now that Rev I can't clear the codes, or is CANbus being used in the tuning?

Should we expect the same performance from Rev I as Rev II with these maps?

Rev.1 and Rev.2 will provide the exact same functionality (as far as on-boost performance goes). The only difference, at this time, is the other non-performance related stuff (code reading/clearing, map indicator display, etc,.) This will not the be case for too much longer though....

Great - thank you. Will be downloading the new maps soon then!

About how much longer (weeks/months/quarters) before CANbus is integrated into the tune? Wondering when I will need to bite the bullet and upgrade.

Hmm, I upgraded to rev 2 CB... now it looks like an upgrade for the rev 1 is coming out to bring it up to the same spec..damn!

There are already functional aspects of the tune that incorporate CANbus integration. But they are nonessential for performance. Mainly for safety. And they represent groundwork for what is to come in the very near future.

No it will never be the rev2 because of the canbus components inside the rev2. rev1 doesnt have the two canbus controller.

I just had to chime in .... i've been running the rev 1 with stage 2 2-19 maps and loved them. The only thing I wished was better was the boost coming back on faster after the auto shifts ( boost targeting) . So I uploaded the new firmware and procede reader along with the stage 2 auto map and love them !!!! I watched boost levels hit 14.5 to 15.5 on a regular basis and watched the boost come right back after shifts. This is a nice improvement over the 2-19 maps and I would highly recommend them.

What if the hardware upgrade was a seperate isolated canbus component to run with the rev1 ?

The whole HW is not build to use the canbus functions because of lack of io at board level. The microcontroller would have more io free, but not in the board layout as far I remember.
