I would actually suggest running with the Eisenmann Exhaust for you car which comes in optional 2x90mm tips, 2x102mm tips, and the great 4x76mm tips as pictured below:

Mote, thanks for letting me use the video

Jon has this on his E92 and we have not noticed drone with the exhaust. He is running a pretty aggressive setup with RR downpipes as well and the car is still daily driveable and quite comfortable. We've taken it to Vegas (19hrs round trip) and LA (10hrs round trip) and did not have trouble cruising.

The exhaust is noticeably more aggressive and has a nice burble but nothing too obnoxious.

I've got the AA exhaust and absolutely love it. It doesnt drone at all on the highway for me. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for something more aggressive but nonobtrusive.
