How do i delete this post haha? Thank you everyone who helped me out, I appreciate your help.

In the other hand I have a pair of depos which are very similar to the oem blackines. These have the black inner lines and a clear lense. It is pretty close to oem.

From your description alone, Insurance will total it. Replacing just a door will be almost a fourth (if not more) of the value of the car, so when other damaged parts are calculated in, it will only get 'worse' from there.

Lawyer up (my advice) and you'll be getting a decent injury settlement check in 6-8 months from now from the other drivers' Insurance. Furthermore, your lawyer will be able to get you a little more than KBB value for your vehicle--look for about $11,000 as a property settlement for damages and start looking for a new vehicle.

Your lawyer cannot take anything out of the property settlement check, but will take (30% is avg) out of your injury settlement check. Absolutely worth it in my eyes.

With all that said, I'm glad to see that both you and your little brother are healing well from the ordeal, good luck!

And if they do not total it, make sure you file a separate claim for diminished value of your vehicle.

Both of you need to go to the Doctor and get checked out, one or both of you may feel worse in the next few days. If the other driver's insurance contacts you do not say you're feeling fine, tell them you have not seen a Dr yet. They won't be acting in your interest!

This is very true, do not talk to literally anyone in regards to the accident. All whom of which 'need' to talk to you are legally obligated to go through your lawyer once you've signed the retainer. Anything that you say over the phone to Insurance can potentially hurt your case, as every phone call is recorded. If anyone attempts to contact you regarding your case/accident, direct them to your lawyer--end of discussion. That's what your Lawyer is for, to deal with everything you don't want to deal with.

You might even want to delete this post, lest there be any public record that can be construed as a statement against you...
