RTTI Real Time Traffic info in Hawaii? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Does anybody get RTTI here? I've checked BMWUSA's website, and it says it's available in Honolulu M-F 6AM to 7PM.

But I don't get any traffic updates, ever.

Is it just me?

I don't get anything either... The Service Advisor at BMW Honolulu told me its not available. It was when I was in California.

I only checked it the first couple weeks I had the car and never got anything so I gave up on it figuring that it just wasn't available in Hawaii.

Dang ... So we spend all that extra money for Tech package and it doesn't even work

Don't worry. The other items in the package like EDC, M drive and comfort access make you forget about RTTI not working real quick

The BMW website says it works for Honolulu M-F. I tried it again, making sure there's a destination selected, but still nothing. I called BMW and they said it should work, as long as a destination is selected.

I was told to call the local dealer to have it fixed if I still don't get anything.

No wonder it never worked for me. I'm usually driving before 6 AM. I almost never use the nav system and it seems like you need to be actively using the nav to get information from the RTTI. Too bad you can't just view the info without inputing a destination.
