![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() First in!...with iPhone photos, lol. Nice 0.5" drop. Definitely a good mod for those looking to bring back some much needed rake to the E9x without changing the dynamics of the stock suspension, or breaking the bank (and opening the pandora's box) on coilovers. Even for those running springs, this could be good to get that last bit of aggressiveness in your drop. The hats are OEM quality, if not better. All in all, hats off to SPP for bringing a good, well made, and very noticeable aesthetic mod to market at a very reasonable price! For $70, you can't go wrong! Only problem with them? They now make my need for spacers REALLY obvious! Now where's my guinea pig discount??!!??!??!! :P PS, Matt@Camber-toe reccommends trimming the bump stops slightly so that they do not make contact with the spring, given that it will sit lower. A slight trimming is perfect.

Would the M3 bumper back work instead since it's lower. I've read from dinan (http://www.dinancars.com/bmw/technia...pension-travel) that if you cut the bumper you reduce the soft absortion and your suspension will stop harder.
Please advice |

I wish someone had a side by side of the two bumpers with height measurements. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422437

Sorry I missed your call. Believe you spoke to Jeff. Make sure the spring is sitting all the way down. There is a built in sorta spring on the perch which will lock the perch in place with whatever spring you use. You do not reuse the rubber pad. Should look like this pic:

zesus-3: I believe the white car has stock sport suspension. The convertible we just did the install in 45 minutes. If you have a spring compressor you can compress the spring on the car and remove the shock and spring. We left the spring compressed and took the top nut off. Removed the OEM top hat and installed the new one. Put back the top screw and reinstalled the shock and spring in the car. Then we removed the spring compressor.
