I wonder if BMW themselves are aware of this lot and the damage they could be causing to their brand...

They're not a franchised dealer, they simply sell second-hand BMWs and as such BMW (UK) have no control over them.

Meant to say, I originally googled Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, and come across this thread, and it's the reason I joined this forum in the first place.

So I'm glad it was started!

There was some chappie on PH asking where he could go to view a large selection of 3-series vehicles in one go.

I dutifully directed him to this thread and to avoid

Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4

at all costs! I hope he got my message and doesn't get ripped off by this bunch of cowboys.

Big Motoring World Group selling Second hand used BMWs, in Kent COMPLAINTS

Many have had issues with the cars, MOTs parts and service history. Those who have gone back to the dealer and rightfully so are confronted by the owner who thinks he is a hard man.

BlackHorse finance are also complicit in allowing this dealer to deny all those who complain their statutory rights.

Second time that the thread has been deleted. Big Motoring World are obviously 'handy with their lawyers'.

Essentially, the OP had booked their car in for an MOT and failed on a number of points, totalling around 500 (rear springs and brakes)

They checked the car with a mechanic friend and found that the back wheels were pretty much seized on, so not removed for brake check. Springs showed no signs of having been inspected (covered in road grime) and no signs of defects when cleaned up.

Alternative garage MOT'd it with no defects.

VOSA wanted 50 payment to investigate an allegation against Big Motoring World and OP wanted guidance as to how to proceed.

All anecdotal and alledged obvously

big m world

Just bought a bmw 520 4 weeks ago from big motoring world. After 3 days a computer fault occurred,i went back and they changed some small part within 5 mins to get rid of it. After another 5 days i went back for a similar occurrence. This time they changed my battery for another one which did not seem too lively, this took 10 mins.

4 days later in London at 7am in the morning the car wouldn't start ,completely dead. The RAC took the car back to Big Motoring World on a Saturday morning. As nobody works on Saturday they said they would fix it on Monday. I called and they said they couldn't look at it that day as it wasn't booked in !!

They asked me what was wrong with it - I said it needs a new battery. It took them a week to fix it !

It only takes 10 minutes to change a battery! The after sales responsibility is non existent with Big Motoring World. Ii have never come across such bad service. It seems once they have your money they couldn't care less what happens to the car you have just bought. I would advise nobody to buy a car from there unless you have your own very good mechanic standing by!

Has anyone mentioned that Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 is selling multiple BMWs on eBay with zero mileage. Amazing for cars that are 3-4 years old!

Apparently, someone reported the incidents to eBay........

I have been to "Big Motoring World Group selling Second hand used BMWs, in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4"

Can confirm the non-existant car stories. I stopped in there once when I was passing by after seeing something on the internet that morning.

They tried to make me look at a "similar" car, which was some dodgy spec and not anywhere near the good value the advertised, non-existant car was.

To me, the whole set up felt completely wrong and I would not have bought so much as a can of coke from them.

It would probably have been Rola-Cola if you had.

I just want to point out how completely epic this thread about Big Motoring World Group selling Second hand used BMWs, in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 is...

This is the first non-Big Motoring World run result on Google.

Got to make sure this thread on Big Motoring World Group selling Second hand used BMWs, in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 keeps getting bumped.

Wonder if we could somehow submit it to a 'search engine optimisation' service to see if this thread on Big Motoring World Group selling Second hand used BMWs, in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 could get promoted to above their actual site?

I've just emailed them this thread. It's a shame they don't have a customer feedback link. LOL!

They know about this thread. They are the ones who kickstarted it into life by joining the forum and posting fake happy customer posts.

The irony is, that the original thread had died a death and hadn't been posted to in months when they resurrected it!
