WTF Porter cable!!!! - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

i had the thing for 2 years and it just starting to smoke up on me within 2min of using it. I'm beyond pissed right now i just clayed my car getting it ready for a long detail and was starting out with my light polish and all the sudden the stupid thing started to release smoke

anyway i just had to vent a little

That sucks. Those things have warranties?

it had a 1 year warranty i believe but its been 2 years now, i used it for my light polishes since i never really had any deep swirls. Oh well i guess i can up grade to the new PC XP

no need to upgrade i use a rotary for deep stuff since I'm experienced with it, I used my PC for light swirls and applying sealants. I'm probably going to buy the PC XP
