Would this look terrible?

I've got OEM 19'' 230's on Sparkling Graphite and need to get a few nicks and rashes sorted out.

I also quite like the look of gunmetal grey of black alloys and may think about getting them powder coated.

Would this be sacrilege, would it look terrible, or would it look sweet? I'm loving the look of wheels in BMW silver, but just a bit curious. Because of the large spoke design, part of me thinks it just won't work.

I really can't picture it, and I'm not too good with photoshop to get an idea (if anyone's prepared to have a go, I'll send a hi-res picture!).

I'm about 50/50 on whether it would be a good or a bad idea. What're your thoughts - or even better any experience/pictures?

I dont think it would suit sparkling graphite mate? Too similar to your car colour.

Contrasting colours usually work though.

Cheers - thought I'd also take the time to see what it would look like with a roof rack!

Et voila.

Grey and black version... (personally, I always use the same idea as Carlos, contrasting colours work best)

Would look good with a huge ass bright red BBK behind the wheels, otherwise all the colours wash out though imo..

Trix - that's awesome. You've scratched that itch to perfection.

The answer is no, it doesn't work. Now thinking of jj's baby pink!

The rack is bolted to the roof of the van on the other side of the street - I had to look twice before I spotted it!
