I went to OG Racing today, and bought myself a starter helmet.

Black Bell Sport 3; Cost: $overmybudget

I don't see this helmet on the bell site? Is it a snowmobile helmet? I really don't know anything about helmets...sorry!

Edit: Nevermind I found it! HOLY CRAP! That is crazy expensive! I guess that is the going rate! I really was thinking 75-100!

yeah, for some reason car helmets are WAY more than bike helmets

. I hear ya on the "overmybudget" stuff though. Sucks that they're so expensive and just my luck after trying on helmets, the only one that really fits my head well is an Arai.

I mean, they're great helmets, but my pocket book is significantly thinner.

I got the same, in white. The guys at OG didn't even mention they had black ones, or I would have gotten that.

Are you doing the CDC event on the 9th @ Harry Grove? I was planning on going to that event. We should get some more folks out.
