As for the tyre insurance, wonder how may worn tyres suddenly get punctures...........surely the reduced tread COULD make them more suscesptible to punctures.
Nah, puncture is caused by an implement penetrating it.. dont matter how old or how deep tread is.

I think im understood half the time.

All the people i have met on e90 post ive met up with alot and consider very good friends, i cant be all that bad..

Love this forum, do not post often but read it every day and it does make me smile a lot

Back to topic, thanks Helen for the tips on tyre insurance, have to say did not know that this type of insurance existed

Could have saved me already a fortune as for whatever reason I get at least a puncture per year and that is on a good year...... normally twice a year . Luckily enough never have to stop with the Runflat.

CARLOS! I've told you before not to post up on here during your japanese flag week bro.

Keep the hormones to yourself

In all seriousness, don't be silly. Forum would be cack without you. So much entertainment!

Anyway, OT, might look into the tyre insurance. Do they stipulate what brand you can go for?

Apparently the average puncture rate is 1 per 38,000 miles.

You do wonder how these tyre insurance companies protect themselves from 'foul play' though.

Like all insurance it's bloody brilliant if you need to claim or a complete waste of money if you don't (and I'm in insurance ).

139 p/a seems like good value though. It's 189 for 2 years though - is that one payment of 189 covers you for two years or two annual payments??? If it's the former then that's cracking value for money.

Now that is good value for money then. I take it the 5 tyres maximum, etc, is spread over the two years though (I'm sure I'd know this if I actually read their website!!!).

I've just had an e-mailed quote so lets see if they offer me a discount in time...
