Rogue Ikon Exhaust

Hello everyone,

I am in search of an exhaust for my 06 330i. I have been searching for awhile and was pretty set on the performance exhaust, but have stumbled upon the Rogue exhaust because of its price. I want something that isn't to loud but also has a little kick to it. I have heard some sound clips of the exhaust but have never heard it in real life. I want some more current reviews on the exhaust to see how people like it. If you could help me out or give me any sort of import it would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Rogue has a good reputation in the community. I have heard this exhaust is on the louder side so it depends on how aggressive you want to go.

i have heard it in real life and actually its just a littttle louder than stock, doesn't have a sporty/race kind of tone to it, so i don't know why would you buy this exhaust honestly and besides, Muffler delete on e90's sounds really good, you should search it.

I had it for around 2 months. You dont hear much inside your car, but i guess is good unless u are used to those civics with rice rockets that make ur ears bleed even inside the car haha.

High RPM gets loud, but you really cant always go high rpm on the street.

I have heard with an intake it will make this exhaust sound a lot better on the street. Is a good buy, lots of people want it so re-selling it is easy

its all personal, i think for a NA its a waste of money to get and exhaust, ive been there done that and found that the muffler delete was perfect, now i have a res. and muffler delete with a drop in filter and its loud. like a ferrari F430 loud or a M5 w/ exhaust loud, the ikon or the other option for the ebay muffler which is exactly the same but cheaper are way to quiet. its so quiet, i bough the muffler and then ended up geting a res. delete because it wasnt what i was looking for. and FYI, i was looking for somthing loud like a E46 M3 w/ exhaust loud.

I believe a resonator delete is getting rid of the one or both resonators or mid mufflers some refer them to. This increases the noise level and air flow. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone. Ikon is a good muffler. I'm planning on getting the BMW performance exhaust. It's a whole exhaust system and not just a muffler.

a res delete changes the sound a bit, its not amazing though, it gives it a more agresve sound. its is a must when buying a muffler but honestly the best way to go is just do a muffler delete before you go out and buy a muffler.

or best yet just find someone in your area that has each and listen to them in person.

a resonator delete is not exactly the best way to go because they are used for more than just sound reduction, if your doing all that its better to just get an exhaust system

the muffler delete i wouldnt worry about so much and have done on my car

I was worried about the sound also. I like semi loud exhaust but the cops where I live and work are pricks and love to give modified exhaust tickets. I got one for my 03 Lexus IS300 with a Greddy exhaust. I don't think it was loud but the cop said it was. I recommend finding someone in your area with the exhaust you want. The reason I say this is because videos and audio clips don't give you the 100% of what it will sound like in person. I didn't think my Injen intake was going to have lots of sound but I was wrong. It sounds amazing after I installed it. I didn't think it was going to have such a nice deep growl to it.
