what type of engine oil do i need for a 2006 bmw 325xit?

hey guys!

i'm wondering what type of engine oil i need for my 2006 bmw 325xit? i'd like to get an oil change soon and it's really pricey, so i'm trying to find more cost effective ways of doing it (other than doing it myself).. :P i figured buying the oil and getting someone to do it would be cheaper...

what type of engine oil does my car need? i know synthetic, but i don't know anything else than that... i also don't need 'the best oil out there' - whatever bmw uses is fine with me. haha

thanks for the advice!
