Exclamation 4-bangers race, 320i V.S 407 (video)

i waited till the gossip of Artz "//M race" to post this one, cuz there's a very big gap between the 2 videos

my friend wanted 2 test the Peugeot 407, so we took a test drive, the salesman told me the 407 engine is V4 2.0 143hp (i thought it was 138hp)

so i said y not try that car with my E90, almost the same engine size n power

from a stop, the 407 takes like about 1-1.5 secs 2 launch, so we started from 20 mph

here's the vid of race 1:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAfho8SkgRk

damn there's no compitition at all !!

2nd race, the peugeot goes infront of me, n i will try 2 overtake him and get back 2 the lane just before the turn

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjLCul7hS8I

where do the 407 horses go??!! that is one slow car!!
any comments??

A V4?!? Never heard of that... It's a plain old transversal in line four cylinder for sure

imagine if u had a 320i manual, the overtaking should be more dramatic- century sprint- manual 9.0sec, auto 9.8 sec)

hi bmw320i, i love my manual 320i. would not swop it for a 320i auto.
cope very well in traffic in singpapore with my manual. hate stepping foot brake at lights waiting for green and love the short throw with the m knob. u could have specially ordered your 320i like mine, had to wait 5 months for my manual but worth the wait, bro

i am hoping that bmw will release an optional 2+3 instead of the current 2+2 seating config for the e92 and get the e92 manual when i replace my 5 yr old corolla. otherwise maybe a e60 523i manual.
