Need a meet - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Guys,

I think you'll all agree when I say that the E90 need to represent a little more in the northwest. If anyone is up for I would love to set up some sort of meet, please send me any ideas or opinions. I think sometime before the 5th of sept would be great.

Well, I didn't have a BMW when you posted this... Didn't even know this site existed! I'd be up for a meet sometime if more people are interested, but from the looks of all the responses you got... I don't think we'll be needing reservations if go anywahere to eat! I guess people here are busy or don't really care about these sorts of things.

Yeah, I go on meets all the time with my friend and his E36'er friends. It's mostly the crowd that can afford these cars, they just don't do that sort of thing.

Im in for a meet. Kuni and Ras are selling these cars as as fast as BMW can make them in PDX, so there must be a fair number of us by now. Are you guys going to join/participate in any of the CCA track days or tours?

What's up guys? It's nice to see at least a few others in the area! I would be up for a meet, just need a couple of dates to choose from to compensate for my irregular schedule.

Graphite, when's your car arriving?

As far as track days, I'm leasing so I don't know if that's a great idea... But, it sounds fun. What are the tours about?

Tours... They are just drives along a set route around PDX... like the wine country or back roads along the gorge. I went on one a few years ago, good company and some very nice cars. The track days are often shared by other clubs like the local Porsche guys and you have to have an approved helmet, but it dosent violate your lease in any way.... it's not a race and you can only pass in safe areas, not on corners, and not aggressively . It's a nice chance to learn how to drive on a world class track (PIR), and is considered a 'drivers training' class by insurance companies.

Yeah I'd love to participate in track days, I'd also like some more info on that.

My car arrived mid-february so I'll have it before the good weather comes for sure.

Oh and I live less than a mile from bell square and I haven't heard of a yearly bimmer meet.

there are various meets ALL the time in the NW. we're all on bimmerforums and dtm as we try not to discriminate by model

Hel Alex, well, there is a RALLY DATE set for JULY 21,2007, People from DTM, 6SpeedOnline (Ferrari, Porsche,Lambo,Aston will all be there) also Tehdriven.com will be there as well, this Rally event will be the biggest gathering in Seattle. I've posted the Rally info on a separate thread, check it out. I hope to see you all out there.
