Donny's take on event: This is a well planned/managed ride and drive event. I have attended the last two and I always look forward to this in my ride-and-drive calendar. Its not a balls-to-the-wall event like Mazda's zoom-zoom-live, its a more genteel experience but the exposure and free runs on a multitude of models and fine catering makes for an awesome all-rounded outing. There usually is a lot of side non-automotive attraction. In the past there were golf swing lessons, massage, cosmetics demo etc.

I recommend this one Definitely a 4.5/5 ... I reserve the 0.5 as you are restricted in beating up on the cars , but the catering pushed it back up

I signed up for Saturday at 10AM. With the new baby and a wife who needs my help, I am not sure I'll be able to go, but I signed up anyway. Anyone else sign up for that time slot?

Don't get me wrong, you CAN push these cars hard...have done so many times, as long as you don't drive recklessly, plow down cones, excessive wheel spin and stick to staging rules and regs, they're pretty much cool with things. The biggest Lexus event was the one they held in 2004, they had a boat load of different cars from different marques. I was jumping in and out of cars all day...I mean all day!! It was an automotive buffet, all you can drive. That one entitled you to a buffet breakfast or lunch with free gourmet cooking demos. The event in 2005 was a little scaled down and catering was a smogasbord of gourmet finger foods/hors d'ouevres and a variety of beverages. Nobody feeds you like Lexus
