Tranny fluid ????? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have the E90 with steptronic. I don't see a dipstick for the tranny fluid so how do I check the tranny for it's fluid level, color, smell..... I don't remember reading if the onboard computer monitors the fluid and lets us know when to change it, or did I miss something?

The transmission is filled with lifetime transmission fluid.
It doesnt require changing or top ups for the life of the transmission
