M3 GTR: Flat plane crank? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I was at Lime Rock this weekend for the AMLS race and i noticed a very distinct difference in the sound of the P65 compared to the S65. Is the firing order different or do they use a flat plane crank? The #90 was with the Risi car most of the race and the two cars had a similar (but not the same) kind of sound. The M3 wasnt as high pitched. Pencil Geek where r u, haha
