LUX 5.0 installed on e90... sexy

I fortunate enough to buy a brand new pair of LUX 5.0 from a forum member (thank you NiVeDh). This is my first real mod (besides tints and vinyl trim) so I'm quite excited!

The install was pretty straight forward. After doing one side, the second side was done in half half the time. Since the wheels were off, I was also able to clean the inner wheels too

Just like everyone says, you have to see them in person to appreciate how good look they look. Below are some pics I took during the install and after. I tried to do a comparison shot for those considering LUX as an upgrade to the angel eyes.

Hope everyone enjoys!

Started a group buy on my regional forum. This guy who does vinyls advertisements and promotions on cars & trucks did all the window trim in either gloss or matte black.

Came out pretty good for the money. Only complaint is he didn't tuck the trim and nicked the paint with the exacto knife in a few spots

I can install my lux units in around 40 mins including removing the wheel wells.

I would say it might take a little longer for someone without experience. An hour and 15 max, taking your time.

I love my LUX 5.0, one of the best mods I've done to my car.

If you've nver done it before, give yourself an hour and a half. Maybe two hours.

I jacked my car up and took the wheel off to make it easier to work on.
