Northern mini 're-mapping' meet - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Since Simon at e-maps is unlikely to be able to make UK2 & there are quite a few e90 members in the north of England, I was wondering how many would be interested in having a one-day meet in the north (around Leeds etc), to have Simon do a group ECU re-map?

If we can sort a date & a minimum of 5 cars, including mine, then I could give him a call & have it sorted out, for before or after UK2.

When I last spoke to Simon (today!) the cost was £200 for petrols & £300 for diesels.

I can make any location on most Saturday afternoons or anytime Sundays.

Paul, I'm going to be away after UK2, until Sat Oct 14th.

I could possibly make a Monday or a Wednesday, however, before UK2- any use?

We will need a minimum of 5 cars though, all available for the re-map on the same day.

Actually, I believe I would (although I am so not close to being "from the North").

So, I'd like to do it, but I really can only do it on a Saturday afternoon ('cause I'll probably get a B&B Saturday night - to make the drive up/down a bit easier). It'll make for a long weekend - but, worth it, I should think. And, I also will be out of town until weekend of 14 Oct. Oh, and I can't do weekdays.

Given that ... can I play?

Hi Paul.

I'm in 2 minds about having it done to my petrol 330i, but I'm happy to sort it out if others are interested.

Whatever I decide, I'm happy to come down to meet everyone who has the re-map done on the day.

Looking at the next few months- UK3 will probably be before the Isle of Man meet (April)- sometime in March? maybe, so how about some weekend in Feb or beginning of March?

I can get in touch with Simon at e-maps to sort a date & we can sort a location somewhere between York, Harrogate & Leeds, without too much problem I think.

Do you know if remap available for 335i as yet? - I would be interested in this if available at reasonable cost and not affecting warranty etc.

Car comes in a couple of weeks

Live near York so anywhere in Yorkshire OK

I'm sure it will affect warranty if BMW know you have done it! Anyone interested or should I go it alone?
