There is no way you're at 302WHP stock.
That is what you're at the crank, not the wheels.
If you're at 302 stock and the wheels then you're at like 350 crank stock. . .
Which is ridiculous!

Edit: And now looking at your dyno chat, it says 302.6HP not WHP.
And if i recall correctly, it should say WHP or RWHP.

I am skeptical as is everyone else. There is absolutely no way you are running 50-60 more rwhp than other stock 335's.
For those kind of numbers you need some pretty decent mods (chip, dp's, exhaust, etc.). Just not possible, is it?
I will say I had an unusually fast 350z as I raced a number of stock for stock other Z's (prior to modding) and took them pretty easily (3-4 cars to a 100).
But man this is epic if true!

No way! I call BS .... something is not right. A stock 335i is NOT getting 302whp on a correctly calibrated dyno .... Period!

Maybe you had jet fuel in it.

I intend to take the car down the track at some point in the next two weeks to see what sort of numbers I am getting, and we will see if these hp numbers are accurate or way of depending on my ET's
that's all that matters

My 2009 335i, 6MT, with 6,000 miles only pulled 258hp and 284tq on 91 octane. It was dyno'd last weekend. Hard to believe another stock one will pull 40 more horses. Attached (I think) is the graph) . . .

X2. Peak dyno numbers mean next to nothing... What DOES mean something, is the power you add to your previous numbers by adding new mods.

Sounds like they just have a high reading dyno. Its not uncommon- most people just care about how high the number is. Interested to see the results of your tune!

Also, it may not make much of a difference, but usually does, I am running Pump gas Ultra 94 Octane. It's avail. here at all Sunoco gas stations.

You guys need to realize that I did the dyno not for the purposes of having a discussion or debate on, just to show gains in the future.
The same dyno showed 201whp on my 2006 325i 6MT back in 2005.

if those numbers are true and your running stock boost. then on a high boost map tune like procede or jb3 and no other mods ur gonna damn near hit the 400whp club. and with full bolt ons u should be the fastest 335 out there hands down cuz ur gonna push close to 475 whp and 500 wtq

Those numbers are bogus. You make peak torque at 3100 rpm which is right before your HP line crosses it. HP is actually calculated: HP = (Tqe x RPM) / 5250. Which means that when you get to 5250 rpm TQE has to equal HP mathematically. In your case, the graph does not cross at 5250, but around 3500 rpm. Thus some sort of bogus correction factor was used bumping power up a high enough percentage to push the graph intersection all the way back to 3500 RPM.

My stock dyno (dynojet) was 291 RWHP and 304 RWTQ on 93 octane. I always thought it was one of the higher stock ones I have ever seen. I dyno'ed again on a different dyno (mustang this time) with an SSTT and put down 310 RWHP and 330 RWTQ on 93 octane.

Dyno's and cars are all different, however I think this one is a bit skewed especially with the torque reading. That does look like a typical stock crank dyno. Plus with the HP/TQ not crossing anywhere near 5250'ish seems odd.

Are you sure you're looking at the scales on both the left and right sides of the graph?

His peak HP is listed at 5250 rpm. There is no way it crosses there, even given that the scales on the left and right are not equal.

not true. Depending on how it's calibrated you can have a mustang dyno read a LOT higher than a dynojet.
