What part is this?!? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Ive been looking on realoem and i think i found it::

Heat exchanger, just wondering if you guys could verify that I am right or wrong, dont wanna buy the wrong part, and will a non 335i version fit as long as its an e90?

sorry for the big pics, there are serial numbers on it but not part numbers that i can see.

Also it is right behind the radiator on the drivers side

yep pretty sure it's the trans fluid heat exchanger. how come you're ordering one?

oil cooler but for some stupid reason i forget what its for...make sure you bleed the cooling system properly afterwards..
