What is the best way to repair a scratched seat?

Does anyone have experience repairing a damaged seat?

I would like to fix it but a nice set of seat covers would work too.

Here is the scratch on the drivers seat.

Thanks.

you will not do much. this is not leather.

you might try to put some glue, or contact cement, and touch up with some paint.
if you have some cash to spare, look up for leatherette seats on ebay, you might come across something interesting there.

OP

Go to the Detailing forum (this is the DIY one) and do a search for "Leatherette".

You'll find several ways of handling this in different threads.
