Well, I think what make it looks good is that I took these pictures right after I washed the car. I am not a professional camera guy. There are lot of shots that i deleted because the focus is really bad. Digital camera rocks... :rocks:

Congrats. Question, I thought Texas went away with the front license plate thingy. I 'm curious because I plan to move to H-Town. I will purchase the car in Maryland, do ED before I move and have my car shipped to Houston. Is there a way you can tell the local dealer not to drill on delivery. BTW, where did you get your car? What is the best dealer in the greater Houston area in terms of service?

Your source is wrong, by law all cars registered in TX must have front plate. I don't know about other folks in htown, but my favorite dealer is Momentum (on 59). It is not fair for me to say they are better than the other because I have not really had services with the other dealer (advantage downtown and Clearlake and BMW North houston and Moment West).

Watch out for the heat, humidity, and nasty weather/floods down here if u r planning to move here.

I'm a Florida boy, so I am ready for all of that, except for the flood. But I am gona live in Sugarland, so probably won't affect me too much.

In that case, the closet dealer to you is Momentum on 59. I was fortunate enough to have had 3 beamers in the past 5 years. I got my first beamer (323i auto) at Momentum 59, my second beamer (325i manual) at Advantage Clearlake, and my pride and joy (06 330i manual) at Advantage Downtown. But I always used the Momentum on 59 for services.

I am not really sure what wood that is. I did not order this car, this was a demo car (shh, no one suppose to know that). I have no problem with it. I was sold even before I drove it. After driving it, did not want to leave the car so i took it. I could have waited to order a car. but while waiting for the car to arrived, i could be hit by a bus. so what the heck, I liked the way it looks, i liked the way it drives, let try and make a deal.

The wood I have in the car is very dark compared to the other wood (sorry don't really know their name) which are lighter. I would have preferred the lighter wood. I always believed that photos can really distort the true image. It does looks great in the photo and it looks very nice against sunlight.

That's my TomTom GPS Navigation unit you see there.

The BMW emblem plate on the front is from my 1999 323is in which I sold. I kept it knowing that someday I will put it on another one.

Picked mine up August 2 from Advantage BMW Midtown in Houston. My first BMW & I couldnt be happier with the car or the dealer! Molly was great! Picked the car up & it had 1 mile on it!

Its just a base 325i with sat. prep. Going from a Toyota - this had everything I couldve wanted on it (well, Xenon wouldve been nice)...amazing difference & for my price range - nothing else comes close!

txusa03, thanks on the car. Three days, one of the pre-delivery pictures, one the first full day I had it, and one this past saturday. I wanted to get them now while it's new!
