Exclamation New PROcede beta maps (7-29), firmware and User Software

All downloadable from here. Please read the whole page.

Quick Overview...

Changes to Maps:
-Virtually unchanged except for the ignition timing mapping in the 3500-5000rpm. Should make for smoother and more consistent power output.

Changes to User Software
-Increased the adjustment range of the Ignition Correction % user adjustable from 0-100% to 0-200%.
-Increased datalog sample rate from 10/sec to 20/sec for all channels (CAN and nonCAN).
-Added more selectable datalog channels (Air/Fuel Ratio, fuel pressure voltage, Actual o2 voltage, Modified o2 voltage, CAN knock count, CAN Actual Ignition Advance, CAN DME Ign Advance, etc,.)

Changes to Firmware
-Necessary to support new maps and User Software

NOTE: These new maps, firmware and user software must be used together. If you use the new software with an older map, the Ignition Correction % will be unintentionally doubled. So don't do that.

Cheers,
Shiv

PS. Basic Custom Tuning Guide is DONE. It will be posted up tonight!

Shiv, nice stuff!

Typo in your post on your forum though. It says "You MUST update to the attached firmware (#125) in order to run these new maps. You cannot run these new maps with older firmware. Or visa versa."

But the new firmware is #127.

Yes. Just not the CAN bus features (dash displays, code reading/clearing, CAN logging, etc,.)

Ok, great.

What do you think I could change it to without taking too big risk?
I always use 94 oct, and the ambient temperature is almost always around 15-20 C (59-68 F) here in Sweden.

JB3 = 0%, but what about me...?

Hi Shiv!

with these new maps for fully stock car, I want set UT=25%.

What are the correct Ign Advance and wastegate DC limt sets up for this UT?

Is correct to set to 100%=Ign Advance with UT=25%?

Thanks a lot

omg.
Just leave everything stock (you can lower UT as much as you want). There's no point in lowering UT settings and ign advance %.
And wait for the custom tuning documentation.

I find this post a good opportunity to ask a couple of questions as there are tons of information in these threads and I'm struggling to keep up with all that info.

-I want to use the "Knock count" datalog feature with older maps? Is there anyway I can do that ?
- How do I configure the "Knock count" channel in order to work properly? (do i need to set certain values into the channel properties to work properly or I just select it and its done?)
-Is there also a datalog channel for engine/water temp?? If yes how do i set up in Celcius?

Thx

I see that Map1=Map2 for these stages. If I load the "Stage 1" Map and change the UT setting on Map 2 to 80%, do I essentially have two maps? Map1=70% and Map2=80%?

As I understand it, that is the point of having two maps. Throw some race gas in the tank, set map 2 ign cor to 0%, hit your clicker, and haul ass.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

why is the default ign. correction on stage 1 6at at 50%. Is it supposed to be. I put one back to 100% and left one at 50%. I have my ut settings at 74 and with the "default" ign correction at 50% the car absolutely flies and is sooo smooth. I dont know if its right but it certainly drives real good.
