Did you guys stoneguard it? If not, are there rock chips or scratches on it? Just getting mine and not sure if its worth the money to do it.

+1, I'm also interested in this. By stoneguard I assume you mean clear bra? I have one on the front end of my car and would have to have it cut and redone if I got the oem aero lip. anyone else have this done?

clearbra is a worthy investment but for the amount of rock chips I see, I think it's a lot cheaper to just get touch up paint and cover up the small chips whenever they occur which isn't much from my driving.

+1 I recommend it if you can DIY or have a good installer. Just be careful and make sure there are no bubbles.

I have had my lip on for two months and I have a few very small rock chips. I would add it if I had the cash, but if you do not, you will get chips for sure.

It depends what the road conditions in your area are
I didnt do anything to it
After a year, there is a small amount of rock chips there, but they're barely noticible
As some ppl suggested, just touch up ones in a while

I live in Manhattan and have had mine for 2 years and 15,000 miles. No chips or scratches so far.

stone chips

hard to believe but a lot of these blemishes do not show up until the car is properly cleaned...waxed, polished, buffed...i recently had my first car(99 honda accord) detailed and i had no idea how many chips were in the hood until it got a good detail...granted it is 10 years old but is definately making me think again about putting on a clear bra to protect the car

I have a bunch of chips and blemishes on mine.
I've had it for 8 months and 12k miles.

I do A LOT of highway driving, and it's very busy and very dirty city highways in NYC.

I'm going to re-spray it when I have the cash and time.

My car is washed by the garage attendant every time it is used and is polished and waxed every two months. If there were any blemishes I would know about them.

Was a template used or was the sheet cut during the install. I dont want any lines to show or at least keep them to a minimum....any advice or feeback you can provide from your install on that aspect? Thanks.

I have the front end wrapped but installed the spoiler after the fact. Still, piece of mind having the protection makes a big difference to us guys with the darker colored cars .......

You can't tell its there unless you really look up close. The place I got it done called Accutint is the best. They were doing a Lambo Gallardo when I got there.

I did not clear bra it, and I am regretting it. I have some small rock chips, but they developed into bigger holes in the paint. I am touching it up with touch up paint, and hopefully, that will be all.

Eventually I am going to go msport front, so Im not dropping much mroe money into respray or clear bra at this point.
