Calling all JB+ owners.....What setting are you running?
I know there's a bunch of guys out there that's running the JB+. I'm curious to know what everyone has theirs set to and if they had any codes pop up. This could be a useful for other fellow enthusiasts who's on the fence about picking up this unit

OK... I'll start 90% setting (4 o'clock on the dial) without the solenoid bypass. I'm just too lazy to take it out and crank it all the way up. I've been runing it for few months, with multiple 150mph runs without a single code coming on.

When I just raised the boost (I think the SSTT brought it up to 11.5psi), the car pulled pretty nice off the line up to about 80mph, but then died down so it was horrible for highway rolls. Also, power dropped down a lot past 5-6k RPM. It was only good for power down low and city driving for quick moves.

Any worse than stock for highway rolls? Had my jb+ in for one month or so. Notice the difference from a dig but, feels about the same on the highway.. Definately worth the $$ thus far. |

I have been running JB+ @ 100% w/ solenoid bypass for several months with no problems and no codes ( I have a BT scanner.) I have never used an SSTT so I can't compare but at 100% the car is strong on the highway, stronger than stock. I love it but I am used to it now and am getting the itch to upgrade to JB3.

Well I can't compare thr JB+ to SSTT because I never had the other. My car was bone stock for a year with few pulls to 140mph. When I did the 150mph pulls with the JB+ at 90% it felt much quicker than stock. The pull from 60 to 120-140 is much stronger than stock, but I can't really compare it to the sstt since I never had it. The highway pulls are much stronger, and it keeps pulling strong all the way up. The defult setting might not be that impressive, but 75% and up is way better.

I have the JB+ set at 100% w/ solenoid bypass.. Had the car dynoed and the only other mods done were Vishnu DCI and UUC RSC335 exhaust, the car made 323rwhp and 353rwtq..given the ambient temps were about 95F, so I would expect it to make much more power in cooler temps. If you check the some of the threads I have made you will see one where I posted the three codes that my car did throw, but I am pretty sure that those were due to my HPFP and not the JB+..

I put in a few gallons of 100 octane on my 2nd day of install. Probably around a 97 mix. JB+ set on 50%. Felt some gains with the race gas, but then again not enough time for both driver(me)/car to adapt to the mod so the gains felt minimal. I'll probably put another few gallons of 100 octane once my tank hits empty.
