Stage 3 dyno results with and without meth

Well I finally did some dyno runs last Thursday; I'm kinda disappointed but I think there may be a fix. Here's the skinny:

where: Mech Tech motorsports
type: dynojet
ambient temp: 91 deg
mods: Procede Rev2 stage 3 non DD 6MT map
UR catted DPs
Turbonetics/Spearco FMIC
custom catless magnaflow quad exhaust system
Forge DV with yellow springs
RR catch can and air scoops
custom single filter intake (kinda like Stett but not CAI)
Snow Performance Stage 2 BoostCooler with Safe injection, 150 psi
pump and 375 cc/min, boost juice (50/50 mix), spray starts @ 6psi& full spray 14 psi
Fuel: 91 oct.
Results: without meth 322 whp/356 wtq
with meth 373-379 whp/395-406 wtq

datalogs: without meth: 322 whp/354 wtq

with meth at 90%UT and 40% Ign Cor:373 whp/395 wtq

with 100%UT and 40% Ign cor: 379 whp/406 wtq

dyno graphs:

I'm still waiting for the actual run files, as soon as I get them, I'll post some more dyno results. If I remember correctly stage 3 with 85%UT and 0% correction yielded approx 357/370 ish.

I think stage 3 might be too aggressive for my car and I also think I might need DCI. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions everyone? PS: I switched to stage 2 nonDD, the car seems to be stronger with and without meth, I'll do some datalogging in the morning.

seems like you need some catless dps to open up the flow, and some dci for a little more airflow on the intake side..without being catless, technically, you should be running stage 1. You can get away with stage 2 b/c of the meth, but until you open up the downpipes, even with stage 2, youre on the wrong map...

st1: nothing required
st2: catless preferred
st3: catless required + fmic

I'm waiting on Vince's Catless DP group buy and I already ordered a DCI kit. I just hope the smell of the catless dps are not so bad.

that seems low even w/ stage 3 using catted dp's. Do you think you could have problems with a coil, injector, or a spark plug?

Did the dyno have a fan?

Did you do a stock (valet) run to get a baseline?

he has stock dps...and no dci, it doesnt matter if he was using 105 oct..he should be on stage 1 until he gets those things. If the dyno was done on stage 3, his car is going to really be fighting, even on stage 2. It needs to breatheeeeeeee

other than that, the numbers with meth are really impressive, especially considering he's on the wrong map

gogo vkdps!

I believe his post says UR catted DP's... but agreed even with the catted downpipes and no DCI he should be on Stage 1 or 2

I think you're running a little too aggressive of a map for 91 octane.

its hard to see the act can ign since the quality is so bad, but its supposed to be a clean ramp up to redline. As in since you have drops everywhere, the map ur running is too agressive. however with meth, you can see how the ignition advance is much better and flatter which means that map is probably okay to run but only with meth.

Yeah sorry about the picture, I had to print the screen and scan it because I don't have a screen capture software. I have a UR dp with HFC. I actually found some old FATS run of stage 2 and 3 (I actually had a lower FATS on stage 2 than stage 3); I had a stage 2 loaded before I updated with at 07-29 map, firmware, and new user software when I loaded a stage 3 map. As with the meth run on a stage 3 map, the car actually made more power when we added more ign. correction(from 0 to 40%). Runs are STD and I have new plugs. Oh well, looks like another trip to the dyno.

Don't bother running the stg3 map without DCIs. Your single filter set-up wont breath well enough to support the rest of the system running at 15+psi. Also, I've found 80/20 (meth/water) to be the ideal mix for max power. Too much water and power just tanks. You'll also find that with more meth, you will be able to run 0% ignition correction due to the improved octane. Something you aren't able to do now with your current mix. You can even see the ignition advance drop outs in the data log clear as day.
