Dynoed my stock car on Mustang - 272whp/457Nm ! (also Helene filter dyno)

Hi,

I dynoed my car today with stock filter and with Helene filter. My car is 100% stock, aside from the BMW Performance Short Shift Kit (which does not interfere).

I never saw low-RPM dynos so I specifically ask the guy to dyno from 1500RPM.

I obtained 272whp after correction, 266 before correction. Temp was 34.5 degrees Celsius, pretty high...

The Helene filter brought identical results with stock ! (so I kept the stock filter).

Here are the graphs (I will replace them with higher quality ones scanned, these are just quick iPhone shots) (the first one is stock, the second is Helene).

When I did my stock dyno runs, I did 2 runs completely stock and for the 3rd run I took off the filter cover and removed the filter. I left the cover off as well, hood was open so my turbo's got to suck in cool air from the fans directly with no intake at all. Result: same as stock with full system installed.

Better filters and/or intakes won't matter at stock boost.

doing back to back runs, would the car need time or additional pulls to adapt?

quick question ..

what is the production date of the car?
what I level are you at ? (software version)
just wondering ---

cuz my 2009 just got update with the latest software and its like im driving a new car..
boost is strong right off idle ---
pulls hard to redline and nothing like it was before --
i gather BMW has come up with some new tricks in the DME software for this car.. but since i cant dyno it ... its a moot point --

also drove a new 135 and it ran like a spanked monkey -- compared to the 2008 model..

but no one will confirm there is upgrade code in the DME

depends on how its calibrated, its not as easy as saying mustangs dyno lower and dynojets dyno higher.

Did the dyno operator run the car a bit in second before going into third?
