Yeah, I read that when I was skipping through the manual the other day. Very cool feature.

Let me ask you though... what's your experience been with leaving the car parked with the top down for more than a few minutes?

as long as you're in a nice neighborhood it's not a big deal

you can have the center storage bin set to lock when you lock the doors, and when the doors are locked the trunk open button is inactive.

my seats do get hot (they're black), and you've got to watch where you park so that you don't get tons of stuff falling from trees (or even worse, birds) landing in your car.

it's not broken in yet so I haven't been able to flex the engine all that much, but from what i can tell it's a couple tenths slower than our E90 330i with steptronic. and it's much lower, lighter, and just tauter in general than the E46 was, even though the E46 had the sport package and the Z4 does not.

I dunno... maybe I just don't feel the torque as much. Also remember that I'm not going over 3500RPM in the Z4. Meanwhile, I've taken the E90 to redline. Add that to the fact that the E90 has 35lb-ft of torque over the Z4, and you've probably accounted for the difference.

I think his E90 is a 330i, while his Z4 looks like the 3.0 version (Non si) meaning it has the 325 engine.
