New England Dragway, Wed 8/26

It's open night at New England Dragway (Epping, NH), and a bunch of boston folks are planning to drive up. $20 to race all night from 5-10pm! The drive is about 45 min from Boston, but watch out for traffic during rush hour.

FYI -
Helmet required if you're under 13.99 seconds.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it out to a meet one of these days...prob won't be at a dragstrip with a stock 328 tho!

Wish I saw this earlier though. I work 10 minutes from there and would have dropped by to watch and meet some people.

My buddies and I will be there 2night. I'm gonna run my stock (performance wise) 335xi. I'm not very good at launching my car well without actually beating on it (which I don't really wanna do) so we'll see what I can still pull off..I hope I get into the 13's with a gentle slip off the line. My buddy has an E39 M5 and my other friend is running his Revo Stg.2 Audi A3 I think. See ya there.

S...O..A..B!!!!!!!!!....I drove 55 miles each way to get there...just as I pulled into the staging lanes...the skies opened up and it DOWNpoured...I was so frikken mad. It was sunny right next to the track but i couldn't even get a damn run in.

Maybe next week.

Yea, it took me 2 hours to get there and then it just POURED. We waited around for them to dry the track because they announced "no refunds." Well, by 915, they opened it up as an 1/8 mile track

Needless to say, I bitched and moaned until I got a voucher for next time. And btw, about 15 runs in during the 1/8 mile session, a Pontiac Fiero spilled oil all over the track... game over.

We WILL be there next wed tho... and if everything goes according to plan, it will be a SICK night. My buddy is trying to convince his friend to bring out an Enzo or twin turbo F40
