Concept sketch and first pics!!!

Latest info 8/29/09:

Confirming some of the info we posted yesterday (see below) regarding some specs on this concept sports car, Carscoop now comes with more inside info on the technical specs of this concept car.

-- Car will feature futuristic design in a 2+2 seating arrangement
-- diesel electric hybrid engine with high performance hybrid drivetrain
-- powered by 3-cylinder diesel engine with two electric motors
-- power output ~350hp (which together with its lightweight contruction will be as fast as BMW's current M3 as as fuel efficient as a Prius)
-- can run on either diesel engine or electric motors alone, or a combination
-- battery can be partially charged through regenerative braking or fully charged via plugin to standard outlet.

Although we don't get to see the actual vehicle in this driving footage, there is a teaser of a portion of the car at the very end of the clip, which looks like it may be a part of the rear portion of the car.

More details to be released on this concept on Sunday August 30, 2009 on BMW's site

That looked to me like the right tail light for a future concept...you can sort of see what im talkin about with the rear windsheild in the background...the little curved red thing was the brake light lit up...my opinion...might as well take a guess
