VMR Wheels - VB3 19x9.5 19x10 on E92 335i - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

We took the time this week to take some quick shots of my daily driver, an '07 E92 335i running a super aggressive fitment. The car originally had 19x8.5 ET40 and 19x9.5 ET33, but I decided to go crazy on the concavity

Wheel Specs:

Front Wheels: VMR Wheels VB3 19x9.5 ET33
Front Tires: 235/35/19 General Exclaim UHP

Rear Wheels: VMR Wheels VB3 19x10 ET38 + 5mm Spacer (19x10 ET33)
Rear Tires: 265/30/19 General Exclaim UHP

After 200-300 miles of driving, I can report no rubbing.... fenders are not rolled either! Same tires before/after, and as expected, no change in performance or handling characteristics.

That's friggin AMAZING!!!!

You've got the same (potential) contact area on your fronts as I have on my rears

Edit: while I've got your attention, what is your honest opinion of the General UHPs for a daily driver? I've read so many mixed reviews of these tires...

Thanks!! The 235/35/19 is a good starting point for the 9.5's. I'm going to play with different tire sizes over the next few weeks. I've got everything here

To answer your question on the UHP's - they are great daily drivers. The fronts are about 50% worn and the rear is about 75% worn, and there is no road noise whatsoever. As far as grip goes, they are just fine for daily driving. I would say that the grip is comparable to stock tires, depending on what they came with of course.

I'm also not a very conservative driver and in my opinion its great for the money. After I lower the car, I'm going to switch to a 245/275 combination

Would the following fit an E90, lowered pretty aggressively, and stock fenders?

Front Wheels: VMR Wheels VB3 19x9.5 ET33
Front Tires: 245 General Exclaim UHP

Rear Wheels: VMR Wheels VB3 19x10 ET38
Rear Tires: 275/ General Exclaim UHP

Its going to be a tough call. Since your ride height is excessively lowered and alignment specs vary, rubbing issues may occur. The following setup is definitely very aggressive with lowered height as well as non-rolled fenders. If you decide to roll your fenders, you will be good to go!

What about if the car is not lowered? I want to go 19x9s all around on my E90 with no mods. Should I be ok?

^^ I'm not having a problem with 9.5" up front (not lowered) so 9.0" front will not be a problem for you. 9.0 isn't remotely an issue for the rear.

H&R sports

no rubbing in the front, but only in the rear so I rolled it just a little and it cleared.

Hey, you are "VMRWheels"... odds are you have a few different tyres laying around.

Looks like you have a small typo on the setup, 10" rears.

good job on the 9.5's, I tried putting a wider front on and had inside clearance issues with my coilovers

If you decide to lower it, be careful, don't wanna crack your front fender (i've been there, done that)

Hey so you're not lowered on anything? It looks suprisingly great for stock suspension and I think for the coupe ZSP and no ZSP have the same suspension set up right?
