Garage List
This one gave me some trouble too, because the manual is incorrect. Press the the voice command button and say "save name" or "save number". The manual uses the word 'store' which is not right. It works great - and not taking your eyes off the road to scroll through the address book is nice!

Send a message via MSN to sysop
Save Name

This feature certainly does not work in mine (Idrive with Prof Nav) - the additional memory list does not appear to exist. Which phone type are you using?

I have a motorola V710, I'm pretty sure the storage of names and numbers by voice is a car feature, not related to phone

I agree with sysop - I think this capability is not available with iDrive and Professional NAV... Does not work on my car either. I have asked the dealer to research... We will see...
