Kidney transplant for patient Eninety.

*new day time pics added*

Got these matte black kidney grilles installed today, out with the chrome moustache!!! they match my matte black window trim.

These grilles are interesting in a sense that the ribs(slats) are not only thicker than normal, there are less of them and they are angled (similar to Z4).

When ordering I thought I was getting the normal thick slat ones that everyone has here but to my surprise they were with a bit of twist. So i got something i wasnt expecting, now I'm gonna ride with them for a bit, and if i hate it, ill go back to oem slats. with flash pics dont look best, but in real life they were fine.

On first look it reminds me Z4 and from some angles even X3-X5 cars. I don't know but I guess It's a bit different than usual and I like it. I also kept the original grilles so I can always switch the slat part if want to.

Let me know if you like (dont hate!)

of course, im also a bit on the fence but giving it a shot. like i said, I have the original OEM thin slats which I can use but i really will ride with these first to see how it looks. if it grows on me, ill keep it, if not, ill go back to oem slat.

Closeup of the slats? Looks good though, I have the same combo and it's much more agressive

day shots. im on fence. seller would not refund me for sending wrong saying because i asked for wide slats - he thought i wanted this (even though it wasn't advertized). SO some misunderstanding meaning i have to buy second set if i want new ones, sell these (i try) or just learn to like them.

anyway... here they are. I probably will just paint the oem chrome bits and be done with it if nothing else comes thats relatively cheap.

in real life they do look better. the maldives blue Z4 is my neighbours car, when mine is next to it I can see how similar the style is on Z4 and I think its' ok. May be just this is so different to anything i seen before that first reaction is cautious but after time you get used to it and objectively it's not bad.
