Autumn and Winter Tires

First, I didn't post this on a tire forum because I only wanted opinions from Pacific Northwest drivers. I have the 18" Michelin Pilot run-flats on a 328i. Has anyone had much experience driving these in the typical weather we get on the western sides of Washington and Oregon? You know, lots of rain, maybe some morning frost, and cool to cold temperatures. I'm not concerned about the snow. For snow I can either work from home or drive another car.

If they're really bad, did you switch to all seasons or go with a pure winter tire? Anyone choose to just go with all seasons year round?

They are a summer tire and not meant for temps much below 50 degrees, or probably rain for that matter. Having said that, I'm sure if you're not pushing it they'll be fine for cruising around town.

I just put on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S a month ago. At the time Discount Tire had a better price than Costco and I didn't have to preorder. They also had a $70 rebate
