Ok, i have spoken to WP today and on the whole they are quite interested in the cars going, even though they specialise in EVO's they were up for the BMWs going there. They are full up in November for meets so the date that has come up so far is the 12th of December. How does this suit people? Now for prices, these prices are for 2 runs with graph printouts:

5 - 10 cars - 50 each
10 - 15 cars - 45 each
15+ cars - 40 each

I dont know how this sits with people but i said i would get back to them in a few days so that we could discuss. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

There are several. Depends on what you are looking for. Pretty busy place. We have Oil sep and Gas compression. We also have the joanne (subsea manifold ) and Jade ( normally unmanned ) platform coming into us to the out look is excellent.

There is also a new paltform getting built called Jasmine. Maybe standalone or pumping into us not 100% sure. Although it looks like the former as they reckon it is bigger than 1st thought. So enough OIL and Gas for easy 20 years yet. that will see me out.

Cash is good, 2 on 3 off, 7 days claw back onshore and flight time much the same as you have around 70 mins. It is around 15 years old now but still in good nick.

I am in operations. Started off Outside Op then CRO now in the Permit office all in 3 years. I used to be the Medic on there for 8 years. So there is room for promotion if you are after that.

+ there will be Conocphillips jobs up for grabs again not sure on time scale though.

Magnus, way toooo far up norht for me. I like the middle bit

Sounds pretty sweet, well one of the guys on the shift got an interview for it this time off. You sound like you are doing pretty well there then. I did my apprenticeship here and been fully qualified for 1 and a half years, so hopefully in the near future will get a chance to progress. Age i think is holding me back slightly as am only 21. Wouldnt mind somewhere i could get a good run at cause if the stats are right i wont see 30 years old of age of this place.

Yeah we are a fair bit north !

Infact we are the furthest north in the UK sector.
45 min flight from aberdeen to scatsta with eastern airways then 50 min's out to the magnus can see the statford's on the horison

I know we need guys quite quickly. Our shift has 2 CRO's and only 2 guys outside. We need 3 as a min outside. There are more shifts in the same boat. Ones of our CROs broke his wrist last trip so I have 2 weeks as CRO, WOW I forgot how boring that job is

I know it is young lads they are after, worth putting your CV in, we would rather have young keen lads that old lads stuck in their ways not willing to change and do nothing but moan

I have been luck all my work has been a chopped flight away. I dreaded getting a job up there just because of the travel time and FOG. I knew a crane driver off the Magnus. Colin Mcginnus ( spelling). He came to Judy for a few years them moved on. Good lad well into his bikes. Anything with and engine interests me.

Sorry i dont recognise his name, im ops so dont have much to do with the crane's out here. I agree it is pretty far but then again we get more than the middle north sea platforms so it makes up for the difference, nothing wrong with the cheeky old delay day payments aslong as it doesnt happen too often!! Could be worse schiehallion boys get delays of up to a week!!!

I would be up for it next year once I get my 335d :-) Although WP is a bit of a trek from Glasgow.
Are there many Glasgow owners on here?
