Hello all,

Based on these pics can someone give me an idea of pad life left (40%, 50%, etc.) These are my rear brakes btw and sorry for the pics pressed for time, best I could do.

Maybe 20% at most. Why do you ask?

Going for a track event and they require 50% minimum. Going to get the car checked out tomorrow and would swing buy and pick up a set of pads to be on the safe side if most would say under 50%. As time is not on my side!!!

Make sure you check the inside AND outside pads, also the top and bottom side of each pad. They don't always wear out evenly. The inside pad or the bottom side of the pad might be thinner.

You are right!

I should be fine for the one event but I might pick up a set regardless before going to the shop as they don't stock these parts.
